Simplicity3568 Tunic Top Bodice of Lace  with Glitter Black

Sweetheart Neckline Lining sewn to Tunic on the inside of Lace

Simplicity 9597 for 20 Minute Tubins' Pants Legs made bigger like Tubes....

Make a bunch of elastic waistbands and lay them on the sewing machine table...when you make your pants... just flip the fabric over the top of the band and top stitch... don't waste time pulling elastic through a casing..

Always have some pants cut out, cut 3 at a time and lay next to sewing machine and when you have 20 minutes... You can have a new pair of pants...and sooooo comfy.

Summer Sleeveless Dresses Become Winter Long Sleeves

This summers dresses-made sleeveless...

Now I add Sleeves and use them for winter.

Added sleeves right before work on Sunday and wore this.

Each of these dresses will have sleeves added to wear again!

Silk Blouse Done

 

THE SILK BLOUSE IS DONE 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the blouse that was button up the back, but I placed front and back on folds and cut a 3 inch slice down the center of the back and put a bias strip around the neckline... boat neck so I could put it over my head.  Long sleeves from another pattern and the cowl neck scarf from another.   Mix and match.  this matches a previously made jacket and scarf set.

Earrings of silk print and royal blue scuba type knit tubins.

 

Blouse Main piece but changed to boat neck. SIMPLICITY 9188

Silk scarf attached to the jacket is just a tubed strip from the silk with slanted ends to give some interest.  BUTTERICK 5045

That is my quick sew coat pattern that I did a little flaire to it!

So warm, I am wrapped in a blanket...

Polar fleece Leopard combined with Black minky on one side and when reversed it has Brown Double-sided minky on the other side.... YES   REVERSIBLE.

I just did a binding of the minky like doing a quilt binding...

I Love to Spread the news that YOU can sew too.

I don't do anything complicated.  I don't have a serger or a fancy sewing machine.  My machine is over twenty hears old and I have a back up sewing machine that is the same.  I sew every day unless I am sick.  If I don't sew then when I do I sew twice as much.  It makes me feel good. 

 

You can only do so much scrapbooking - LOL 

The scrapbook cabinet is in the background...HaThis one ended up with a blanket..LOL

Or you scrapbook a pin... Yep thats me in the middle

 Even a tiny pin that is quilted I can put on my lapel or a cross stitch pin.  Then I feel confident for the day.

I walked to the end of Cape Hatteras one vacation and saw where the Ocean and the Sound Meet-I felt like I was on the edge of the world

I laid out on the beach as the sun came up and it was spectacular

I don't just sew, but nature inspires me to wear beautiful colors
